Our story: 20 years of passion for Japan
Ikiya was founded in 2005 by Elisabetta, a graduate in Oriental Languages and Civilizations in Venice.
Her passion for Japan, born from a love for manga and anime, led her to create a Japanese product shop in Treviso where Japanese culture is known, shared, and loved.
In 2010, Ikiya was enriched with a selection of gourmet food directly from Japan.
In 2019, with the arrival of Antonella, also a Japanese graduate and student of tea ceremony (chanoyu, the Japanese tradition of tea preparation), the tea room was born, where tea becomes an experience of relaxation and discovery.
Today, Ikiya is a point of reference for those who love Japan, a place where tradition meets modernity.

Orders are generally processed within 1-2 business days of receiving payment, unless otherwise indicated in the product description. For products in stock, we do our best to prepare and ship orders received by 12 PM on the same business day. Delivery times vary based on the shipping area (from 24 hours to 3 business days). - Are your products all Japanese?
Certainly, all our products are imported directly from Japan, except when not possible due to European laws.
